Stephen Ward As a Sacramento area artist, Stephen has worked as an award winning commercial artist for the past 30 years, creating illustrations for many publication covers and for all advertising media. He and his wife have lived in Folsom, California for the past 12 years where they have enjoyed raisng four beautiful girls. Although advertising art is still a love of his, Stephen is now dedicating himself to his real passion - fine art.
Lisa Kreuziger is a Sacramento-based German artist who graduated from Johan-Wolfgang Goethe University/Germany in 1983. She is an abstract painter who tries to find the balance between intuition and structure in abstraction. Consequently, some of her paintings are more based on mental constructs that adhere to compositional guidelines, whereas others result from intuitive processes which reflect her expressive nature. Her work is influenced by first generation Abstract Expressionism, Color-Field Painting as well as New American Abstraction. In contrast to abstract artists who seek to visually shift perceptions of reality, Lisa Kreuziger intends to communicate the processes of her inner world and responses to her outer world creatively. She believes that contemporary abstract art has tremendous potential to convey the human experience of the twenty-first century though its roots derive from the aesthetic principles of mid-twentieth century abstraction.
